Brian VanderSchauw is a creative professional with over 10 years of experience in various roles. Brian began their career in 2010 working in various restaurants in hospitality roles. In the same year, they co-founded Bogarden, a community garden that was the recipient of the Charleston County Community Prize Award. In 2008, they began working with Christians Women's Works of Charity, where they were a Creative and Project Manager, paving the way for a brighter future in Kenya's second largest slum. Brian also worked with CofC Alliance for Planet Earth as a Board Member and Creative, Project Manager. In 2021, they became a Jr. Art Director at Formerly Known As, and in 2020 they were a Junior Art Director at FCB Global and a Community Leader at Fishbowl. Brian is currently an Art Director.
Brian VanderSchauw obtained their High School Diploma from Wando High School in Visual Arts, and then went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from Savannah College of Art and Design in Advertising-Art Direction and Secondary Copywriting. In 2017, they attended Miami Ad School Europe for Advertising-Art Direction. In 2019, they completed a Continuing Education (CE) program at School of Visual Arts in Advertising.
