Janne Joutsen

Janne Joutsen is a seasoned industrial designer with extensive experience in product design and development, currently serving as a Senior Industrial Designer at Fiskars Group since January 2016. With responsibilities in new product development (NPD) across various business areas, including functional and cooking products, Joutsen has shaped innovative designs for the Terra & Crea and Watering & Gardening sectors. Prior to Fiskars Group, Joutsen held senior roles at RD Velho Oy and Innovoimala Oy, where responsibilities included concept and industrial design, project management, and sales. Joutsen's career started at Finncont Group, focusing on rotational moulding and bringing designs from concept to market, and earlier experience includes work at Hupcis oy in model building and visualization. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Design Business from Lahti University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from Savonia University of Applied Sciences.
