Sami Tuokko has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Sami started their career at Metsä Wood in 2003, where they worked as a Business Analyst and later as a Sales and Marketing Manager for the Plywood division. Sami then became the VP of Business Controlling for Plywood and subsequently served as the VP of Product Range & Business Development. Sami concluded their time at Metsä Wood as the Operations Director for Upgrading in Finland.
In 2013, Sami joined PAROC as a Division Business Controller before moving on to Fiskars Group in 2014, where they held multiple roles. At Fiskars, they served as the Business Controller for Supply Chain in the Functional EMEA division and later became the Director of Supply Chain Finance for EMEA. Sami then took on the position of Vice President of Supply Chain Finance before being promoted to Vice President of Global Manufacturing.
Sami Tuokko completed a Master of Science degree in Economics and Business Administration at the University of Jyväskylä's School of Business and Economics. Their studies covered a range of subjects including Marketing, Accounting, Economics, and Physics.
