Pete Carino has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles. Pete currently holds the position of Chief Commercial Officer at Fit For Work since 2022. Before that, they served as the Chief Commercial Officer at PaceMate™ from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Director at iRhythm Technologies from 2017 to 2020.
In 2016 to 2017, Pete Carino held the role of Executive Vice President & Chief Sales Officer at Integrated Healing Technologies, where they managed a team responsible for commercializing the company de novo. From 2012 to 2016, they served as the Eastern Area Sales Director at Mölnlycke Health Care, where they were tasked with revitalizing the sales structure and expanding the salesforce.
Before that, Pete Carino worked as the Director of Sales - Odyssey Solutions at Stereotaxis from 2011 to 2012, focusing on improving pipeline management and sales forecasting. From 2009 to 2011, they held the roles of Clinical & Capital Program Manager and Clinical Sales Manager at Intuitive Surgical, where they drove exponential growth in the Southeast Clinical and Capital business.
Pete Carino also has leadership experience at BrainLAB, where they held various roles including Director - Image Guided Surgery Division - North America and Director - iORS Division for Neuro/Ortho/Spine - North America. At GE Healthcare, they served as the Regional Business Leader/PET Business Manager from 2002 to 2004.
In the earlier stages of their career, Pete Carino held positions of increasing responsibility at various employers in the pulp and paper industry. Overall, their work experience showcases a strong background in sales, commercial strategy, and leadership roles.
Pete Carino attended the Wharton School from 2013 to 2014, where they completed the Global Strategic Leadership Program and studied Strategic Thinking & Management for the Competitive Advantage. Prior to that, from 1984 to 1988, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Dayton.
