Christian Kuendig has had extensive work experience in the financial sector. Christian started their career at Reuters as a News Reporter from August 2002 to August 2003. In 2004, they joined Fitch Ratings and held various roles, including Associate Analyst, Analyst, Associate Director, Director, and Senior Director within the EMEA Banks Team. From March 2010 to April 2022, they served as the Senior Director of the EMEA Non-Bank Financial Institutions Ratings. Currently, they are the Managing Director and Head of EMEA Non-Bank Financial Institutions Ratings at Fitch Ratings.
Christian Kuendig obtained their Master of Science degree in International Political Economy from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2004. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Arts degree in History/International Relations at the University of Zurich from 1996 to 2002.
