Xavier Naturel

Xavier Naturel possesses extensive expertise in machine learning and computer vision, currently serving as the Manager of Machine Learning and Senior Researcher at Fittingbox since February 2019, focusing on deep learning applications for augmented reality including semantic segmentation and 3D reconstruction. Prior experience includes roles at CELAD as a machine learning & computer vision R&D engineer in the automotive industry, and at SAS Wisimage as Head of Research leading R&D on augmented reality applications for digital beauty. Additional positions include image processing consultancy for Michelin at INTITEK, research roles at Multitel and France Telecom on object detection and video indexing, and post-doctoral research at IDIAP Research Institute on video surveillance. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Université de Rennes I and multiple master's degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering.
