Eric Overby, CSI, CDT, is an accomplished architecture professional with extensive experience in the construction and design industry. Since July 2023, Eric has served as President of the Chicago Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), following a term as President-Elect. At FitzGerald, Eric has held the position of Associate Principal since 2007, as well as Managing Associate. Eric has actively participated in the Building Enclosure Council - Chicago, serving as Secretary and Treasurer from February 2022 to December 2023. Previous roles include Project Architect at STUDIO Villanueva Architecture LLC and Architect - Level III at Lucien Lagrange Architects. Early career experience includes working as an Architect - Level B at Skidmore Owings & Merrill LLP (SOM). Eric holds a Bachelor of Architecture in Structures from the University of Illinois Chicago, earned between 1992 and 1997.
