Paul Johnson

Paul Johnson is an experienced engineering leader, currently serving as VP of Engineering at Five Below since January 2023. Prior to this role, Paul held the position of VP of Engineering at Gap from June 2017 to January 2023, where Paul led a team of over 700 engineers focused on Global Supply Chain, Stores, and the Global Data Platform. Paul also served as Senior Director of IT for Logistics and Supply Chain at Gap, overseeing a technology team for various supply chain systems. Previously, Paul held several key positions at BlackRock, including Director of Software Development and Principal Development Manager, contributing to the design and management of complex financial platforms. Paul’s career also includes software engineering roles at Orbit Commerce, Intershop, ICVerify, and Cybercash. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Arizona State University.
