Andrew M. Shen

Andrew M. Shen is an accomplished professional in the fields of executive search and pharmaceutical sciences. Currently serving as Associate Director and Executive Search Lead at Flagship Pioneering since September 2019, Andrew specializes in recruiting top C-level scientific talent for emerging life science ventures. Concurrently, Andrew is a Ph.D. candidate at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, focusing on Pharmaceutical Sciences. Previous experience includes serving as Principal Consultant at ProClinical, where Andrew established and led recruiting capabilities for permanent placements. Andrew also has a background in academia as a Teaching Assistant and Laboratory Technician at Rutgers University, where extensive laboratory work was performed. Andrew holds both a Master's Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering, with a minor in Music, from Rutgers University.
