Bejan Mahmud

Bejan Mahmud is an experienced professional with a strong background in molecular microbiology and microbial pathogenesis. Currently serving as an Associate at Flagship Pioneering, Bejan previously held positions as a Flagship Fellow and a PhD Candidate at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, where a Doctor of Philosophy was obtained in 2023. Bejan also earned a Master of Science degree in Biology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2019, during which time involvement included roles as a Pre-Health Intern at the Health Career Resource Center and an Undergraduate Research Assistant.
