David Khougazian

David Khougazian is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as Executive Partner, Growth at Flagship Pioneering since August 2023, David previously held multiple senior leadership roles at Sanofi from 2017 to August 2023, including SVP, Head of China and International Region Specialty Care, where management of a $1 billion specialty care business was key. David also directed operations in China and emerging markets and managed significant businesses in Eurasia and the Middle East. Prior to Sanofi, David was CEO of Sanofi Pasteur MSD, leading a joint venture in the European vaccine market. Additional roles include Chief of Staff at Sanofi and various positions at Aventis Pharmaceuticals and Rhône-Poulenc, alongside foundational experience at HSBC. David holds an MBA from Collège des Ingénieurs and a prestigious engineering degree from Ecole nationale supérieure de l'Aéronautique et de l'Espace.
