Valerie D'Souza Jaiswal is a finance executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. Currently serving as CFO for the Pioneering Business Unit at Flagship Pioneering since November 2024, Valerie has also been a board member at the India Cultural Center of Greenwich since January 2022. Previous roles include Executive Vice President and Head of Finance at Scorpion Therapeutics, Vice President of Finance at Fortress Biotech, and multiple positions at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, culminating in Executive Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. Valerie's career began at International Paper as an Assistant Engineer, followed by managerial positions at ITOCHU International Inc. and Swiss Re. Academic credentials include an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business, an MS in Paper Science from Miami University, and a BE in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka.
