Koen Laurijssen

Koen Laurijssen is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the automotive and motion systems industries. Currently serving as the Technology Domain Leader for Multi-Drivetrains at Flanders Make since January 2021, Laurijssen focuses on advancing technology research for machines with coordinated motion and drives. As a Co-Founder and Technical Advisor at Kerv Automotive, strategic guidance is provided for technological roadmaps. Previously, at Punch Powertrain, Laurijssen held multiple roles, including Systems Engineering Manager, Chief Engineer for new CVT development, and System Engineer for automatic transmission projects. Earlier career experience includes consultancy work at Alten Benelux. Laurijssen holds a degree in Civil Engineering, specializing in Electro-mechanics and Automotive, from KU Leuven.
