Jerome Lavoie

Jerome Lavoie is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in automation and systems engineering across multiple companies in the steel industry. Since April 2017, Jerome has served as a Senior Systems Engineer at FLANDERS. Prior to this role, Jerome worked as an Automation Engineer Level 2 at Steel Dynamics, Inc., where responsibilities included supporting various control systems for several production lines. Jerome's background also includes project management at SNA, as well as engineering positions at Severstal and Nucor Steel, focusing on automation systems and capital improvement projects. Jerome's career began in the US Navy as a Reactor Operator, where foundational skills in nuclear engineering were developed. Educationally, Jerome has pursued studies in Nuclear Engineering Technology and completed training at the Naval Nuclear Power School.
