José Luis has held various leadership positions at Dragados USA, Inc., starting as Executive Vice President in 2011 and progressing to become President of the West Division in 2016 and again in 2017. From 2018 to 2021, they served as President of Dragados USA. Currently, they hold the role of Project Director for the Gordie Howe International Bridge Project at Dragados USA. Prior to joining Dragados USA, José Luis Méndez Sánchez worked at Dragados SA, where they held positions such as Regional Vice President, Branch Manager, and Project Manager. José Luis also worked as a Civil Engineer at Macla Ingenierías for a brief period in 1999. Throughout their career, José Luis Méndez Sánchez has gained extensive experience and expertise in project management, operations, and leadership in the construction industry.
