Mohamad S. Amine, P.E. is a seasoned engineering professional currently serving as the Design-Build Manager for the $3.6 billion NAVFAC SIOP P209 Drydock Project at Dragados USA, Inc. since May 2021. With extensive experience in managing large-scale design-build projects exceeding $1 billion, Mohamad has held various leadership roles within the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Norfolk Branch, culminating in serving as Past President. Previous positions include Senior Structural Engineer at Skanska, where responsibilities involved engineering support for significant bridge and highway projects, and structural design roles at AECOM. Mohamad holds a Master of Engineering in Civil/Structural Engineering from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Science in Physics-Engineering from Washington and Lee University. Additionally, participation in research initiatives at the University of Virginia and Virginia Tech further underscores a commitment to advancing engineering practices.
