Sean Eastwood has had extensive work experience in the IT industry. Sean started their career as an IT Team Leader at Feltex Carpets Limited from December 2001 to December 2006. Sean then joined Fletcher Building as an IT Technical Manager from January 2007 to March 2009. Following this, they served as the IT Infrastructure Manager for the Concrete group of companies within Fletcher Building from April 2009 to October 2016. From November 2016 to July 2020, they held the position of Service Desk Manager, responsible for the IT Service Desk function at Fletcher Building. More recently, they assumed the role of Head of IT - Concrete Division at Fletcher Building in July 2020, overseeing the development and implementation of the IT and Digital strategy roadmap and IT service delivery for the Concrete Division.
Sean Eastwood attended Massey University from 1989 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemistry. Prior to that, they attended Wanganui Collegiate from 1984 to 1988. In addition to their formal education, Sean Eastwood obtained a certification in "Accelerating Change Readiness and Agility" from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business in 2022.

The Distribution segment consists of building, plumbing, pipeline and steel distribution businesses in Australia and New Zealand. The Residential and Land Development segment develops land holdings for both residential and commercial use, and is a residential home builder. The Construction segment includes Fletcher Construction, a general contractor in New Zealand and the South Pacific.
