James Geiger has worked in the medical industry since 2008. In that year, they began working at the University of Michigan as a Professor of Surgery and Executive Director of the UM Pediatric Device Consortium. In 2013, they joined FlexDex Surgical, serving as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Medical Officer.
James Geiger attended Ottawa Hills High School from 1975 to 1979 and then went on to obtain a BS in Biology from the University of Michigan from 1980 to 1983. James then furthered their education by attending Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, where they obtained an MD in Medicine from 1983 to 1987.
