Xiaoxiang (Ronnie) Gao, P.E., PMP has a diverse work experience in the field of electrical engineering. Xiaoxiang (Ronnie) is currently working as a Sr. System Engineer - Energy Storage at FlexGen, starting in August 2022. Prior to this, from September 2020 to August 2022, Ronnie worked as a Senior Electrical Engineer at the City of Loveland. Before that, they were an Electrical Engineer at Mott MacDonald from July 2016 to September 2020.

During their time at Florida State University, Ronnie worked as an Electrical Engineer intern, focusing on building load modeling, distribution protection, time current coordination, and arc flash analysis. Xiaoxiang (Ronnie) also conducted research on campus distribution system simulation, incorporating big data and smart grid technologies.

Xiaoxiang (Ronnie) Gao, P.E., PMP completed their education in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Xiaoxiang (Ronnie) obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree from Tianjin University of Technology in 2011-2015. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree with a focus on Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Power) from Florida State University in 2014-2016.

Furthermore, Xiaoxiang has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2015, they acquired the Fundamental of Engineering certification from NCEES. In 2019, they became a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. In 2020, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
