Monica Sung has a diverse range of work experience. Monica currently holds the position of Channels Sales Manager at Flexion since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Marketing Manager at the Taiwan Tourism Bureau London Office from August 2022 to January 2023, where they successfully developed and executed a strategic plan to promote tourism in Taiwan, reaching over 31 million people. Before that, they served as a Business Growth Operations Specialist at Huawei from December 2020 to March 2022, where they led and managed the marketing content plan for the UK market and developed business growth strategies for key partners. From September 2019 to August 2020, Monica worked as a Marketing and Sales Executive at Chrisanne Clover Ltd, where they liaised with different departments to develop marketing plans and provided training for key accounts. Prior to that, they served as an E-Commerce Consultant at Rakuten Taiwan from May 2018 to October 2018, where they developed B2B business growth strategies and deployed web analytics tools to improve exposure and conversion rate for shop owners. Monica's experience also includes working as a Product Manager at Moxa from October 2015 to March 2018, where they created product training materials and provided sales tools for global sales and resellers. Additionally, they served as a Youth Ambassador of Taiwan at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from March 2013 to October 2013, representing Taiwan in communications with the Fiji government and educational institutes to enhance relations and showcase Taiwanese culture.
Monica Sung attended National Tsing Hua University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering & Engineering Management (IEEM). Monica then pursued a Master's degree from the same university, completing the Master Program of IEEM, Information and Operation Research from 2013 to 2015. In addition to their academic qualifications, they obtained a certification in HubSpot Marketing Software from HubSpot Academy in May 2022.

Flexion was founded to provide a unique monetisation and distribution platform for developers and publishers.Flexion enables developers to be able to fully focus on application development and it helps them with monetisation through the use of the automated Flexion wrapping solution. By allowing their applications to be wrapped Flexion can helpdevelopers implementing in-app billing, new charging models, DRM and up-selling without any additional work required by the developer. The market for mobile apps and games has become a billion dollar market since Apple launched the iPhone in 2007. There are now hundreds of thousands of developers who are looking to distribute their mobile applications to content hungry consumers. The market is growing quickly but there are still a few limiting factors that are holding back app developers and limiting their potential to make money. For instance, distribution is still fairly limited and comes mainly from OEMs, operators and a few independent stores such as Amazon and Getjar. This means that stores in general are overcrowded and developers struggle to get visibility and make money. Most App stores also lack good charging methods and pricing models which means that conversion rates suffer. As a result many developers have opted for free apps funded by advertising as a last option, but very few generate any substantial revenues from this.
