Tzu-Hao Huang has worked in various roles in the field of robotics and mechatronics since 2012. In 2012, they were a Visiting PhD Student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Biomechatronics Group in the Media Lab, where they learned how to design a tether exoskeleton and assistive control based on EtherCAT. From 2013 to 2015, they were a Principal Engineer at TSMC. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Principal Researcher at the Taiwan Textile Research Institute, where they developed products such as ECG smart clothing, smart EMG sleeve, smart gloves, lighting bags, and lighting skirts. From 2017 to 2021, they were an Adjunct Professor and Postdoctoral Researcher at The City College of New York, teaching Advanced Mechatronics and System Dynamics, and researching robotics, exoskeletons, wearable sensors, and assertive technology. Currently, they are a Postdoctoral Researcher in Biomechatronics and Intelligent Robotics Lab at North Carolina State University, and a Robotics Engineer at Flexiv Ltd.

Tzu-Hao Huang's education history includes a PhD from National Taiwan University in System and Control Division, Department of Mechanical Engineering (2006-2013), a Master of Science from National Yang Ming University in Institute of Rehabilitation science and Technology (2004-2006), and a Bachelor of Science from National Cheng Kung University in Occupational Therapy (2000-2004).
