Justin King has over 23 years of experience in information technology and engineering management, currently serving as an Engineering Manager at FlightAware since July 2017. Previously, Justin held various leadership roles at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and Research Institute, where responsibilities included directing IT and data management, architecting enterprise IT infrastructure, and managing a multi-million dollar budget for the Human Neuroimaging Laboratory. Prior to that, Justin worked as an Operations Manager and Sr. Systems Administrator at Baylor College of Medicine, overseeing lab operations, renovations, and enterprise IT environments. Additional experience includes consultancy roles in secure IT infrastructure development for startup companies and systems administration in diverse settings, ranging from an internet startup to corporate desktop support for SYSCO Corporation. Justin holds an academic background from The University of Texas at Austin.
