Sandy Ng is an experienced information systems engineer currently working with the Florida House of Representatives since October 2012. Previously, Sandy held the position of senior software engineer at Datamaxx Group from June 2011 to October 2012 and served as a software engineer at Yahoo! from July 2007 to June 2011, where responsibilities included designing and maintaining software for processing critical revenue data. Additionally, Sandy worked at Right Media as a software engineer, focusing on software applications for monitoring Ad Exchange data, and served as a systems project analyst at the Florida Department of Financial Services, leading the development of web applications for the Florida Unclaimed Property Management Information System. Sandy obtained a Master of Library Science degree from Florida State University during 1993-1994.

Established by s. 1, Art. III of the State Constitution, the Florida House of Representatives is one of chambers of the Florida Legislature. The House is composed of 120 members elected to 2-year terms. The House traces its history back to Florida's statehood in 1845.
