Rick Howard

Rick Howard is an experienced tax professional with a history at Florida Power & Light Company since 1999, where roles include Tax Manager in Tax Technology, overseeing the launch of a tax provision system without incurring costs, and Tax Project Manager for Federal and State Controversy, managing over 75 audits and improving data accessibility through digital record-keeping. Previously, Rick served as a Senior Tax Analyst focused on federal and state tax audits and maintaining relationships with taxing authorities. Prior experience includes serving as Systems Manager at Golden Bear Golf Centers, Inc., and as a Tax Senior Accountant at Arthur Andersen. Rick holds a Master’s degree in Accountancy with a focus on Accounting & Taxation from the University of Florida, awarded in 1992.
