Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind
Deanna Scala has been with the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind since August 2001. Deanna has served in various roles such as Job Coach, Teacher, and Senior Residential Instructor. Deanna holds a Master's degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from the University of South Florida, a Bachelor's degree in Deaf Education/ Elementary Education from Flagler College, and an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts from the College of Central Florida.

The Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB) was established in 1885 with support of the State of Florida and private contributions.Based in St. Augustine, we are recognized as one of the top schools for the deaf and blind in the nation and the only one of its kind in Florida. FSDB is a fully accredited, tuition-free state public school foreligible Pre-K and K-12 students who are deaf/hard of hearing, blind/visually impaired, or deafblind.
