Marc J Hebda is an experienced music educator and administrator with a prominent role in various organizations dedicated to music education and performance. Currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors for the Chopin Foundation of the United States since April 2024, Marc holds the position of Chair for the University Musical Associates Executive Committee at Florida State University since June 2020. Additionally, Marc is the Treasurer of the Florida State Music Teachers Foundation and has been a Director and Past President of the Florida State Music Teachers Association since June 2009. Marc also owns the Hebda Piano Studio, which has been operational since August 1986. Previously, Marc held the role of Southern Division Director for the Music Teachers National Association from March 2014 to April 2016 and served as Past President of the Florida State Music Teachers Foundation from November 2011 to November 2013. Educationally, Marc holds a Master of Music in Piano Performance from Bowling Green State University, a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Butler University, and an ARCM in Piano Performance from the Royal College of Music, among other studies in music.
