Maciej Simm has a range of work experience in the field of software development and research. Maciej started their career as a Resident Advisor at the University at Buffalo from September 1997 to May 1999, where they were responsible for community building, leadership, conflict resolution, and facilitating adjustment to university life. Maciej then worked as a Research Technician at Weill Cornell Medical College from July 1999 to February 2003. In this role, they gained experience in research-related tasks. After that, they joined FlowJo in April 2003 as a Software Developer and later took on the roles of Support Engineer in May 2014 and Senior Software Engineer in January 2020. At FlowJo, they demonstrated their expertise in software engineering and provided support to customers.

Maciej Simm pursued their education in Biological Sciences at the University at Buffalo from 1995 to 1999. During this period, they successfully obtained a Bachelor of Science degree.
