Russ Tarleton has worked in the software development industry since 1997. Russ began their career as a volunteer for a non-profit organization and then moved on to become an Associate Technical Director at Smashing Ideas, Inc. in 1999. In 2004, they began freelancing as a Software Developer and continued to do so until 2006 when they became a Teaching Assistant at the School of Visual Concepts. In 2011, they joined PopCap Games as a Senior Game Developer on Bejeweled Blitz and in 2014 they became a Senior Developer at FlowPlay.
Russ Tarleton studied Computer Science at the University of Washington from 1999 to 2001, with a focus on C++ and Math. Russ also studied Computer Science at the University of Utah from 1995 to 1996, with a focus on C and C++.
