Tyler Thompson

Tyler Thompson has a diverse work experience in various managerial roles. Tyler started their career as a Summer Engineering Intern at the Texas Department of Transportation in 2005, followed by an internship as a Freight Car Engineering Intern at Trinity Industries in 2008. Tyler joined Cameron in 2010 and served as a GRDP Trainee, Sr. Production Planner, Manufacturing Manager, and finally as a Plant Manager, where they developed their leadership and management skills.

In 2016, Thompson joined Schlumberger as a Supplier Manager for a brief period before moving to Forum Energy Technologies. At Forum Energy Technologies, they held the positions of Plant Manager II and successfully integrated a newly acquired company, JMac Tool, into a flagship facility. Thompson showcased their expertise in operations management, process improvement, and profitability. Tyler led the transformation of the facility's HSE culture, achieved significant financial improvements, implemented lean practices, and expanded production capacity.

Most recently, in 2020, Thompson joined Flowserve Corporation as the Director, Plant Manager. In this role, they managed a profitable business unit, enhanced operational execution, and delivered consistent results across various operational areas. Tyler demonstrated their skills in managing a full P&L, transforming the HSE culture, and driving operational excellence.

Tyler Thompson earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University in 2008. Tyler then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Systems and Engineering Management from the same university, completing it in 2010.
