Alex Morel has a diverse work experience in the transportation and logistics industry. From 2017, they worked at FLS Transportation Services, where they started as the Director of Sales Training and later became the Director of Sales/Customer Administration & LTL Program. In these roles, Alex was responsible for implementing sales strategies, training and coaching the sales team, and establishing the internal LTL workflow. They also negotiated tariffs, implemented software systems, managed accounts payable, and dealt with claims. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2017, Alex worked at Echo Global Logistics in various positions including Senior Sales Trainer, Corporate Trainer, and Client Sales Executive. At American InterContinental University, Alex worked as an Admissions Advisor from 2009 to 2011, assisting prospective students with the admissions and enrollment process, as well as providing support with financial aid. Overall, Alex has a strong background in sales, training, and management roles in the transportation industry.
Alex Morel attended De Kalb High School from 2000 to 2004. They then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sociology at the University of Iowa from 2004 to 2009. Additionally, from 2007 to 2009, they obtained a Certificate in Entrepreneurial Management from the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center at The University of Iowa, focusing on Business Administration and Management, General.
