Rick Shirley

Rick Shirley is a seasoned professional with over 39 years of experience in plant layout, design, checking, and drafting for the petrochemical industry. Currently serving as a Senior Pipe Designer and Checker at Richard Industrial Group since March 2019 and as a Senior Principal Piping Designer at Fluor Corporation since February 2015, Rick has developed a strong expertise in various types of facilities including gas plants, refineries, and offshore platforms. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Principal Pipe Designer at Furmanite/Englobal Engineering from June 2004 to February 2015. Rick's current work involves leading piping activities and conducting engineering and construction estimates for multiple Chevron Phillips Chemical plants in Texas. Rick holds an Associate Degree in Drafting Technology from Lamar University, earned between 1975 and 1979.
