Laura Barrett

Laura Barrett has over 15 years of work experience in the compliance and regulatory field. Laura currently serves as the Head of Compliance at Fluro since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Equifax for 8 years, starting in March 2014. During their time at Equifax, Laura held the position of Compliance Business Partner and was responsible for providing regulatory advice and guidance to ensure compliance with FCA and other regulatory requirements. Laura played a key role in achieving full authorisation for the company and managed the successful registration as an Account Information Services Provider (AISP). Before joining Equifax, Laura worked at Huntswood for 6 years as a Consultant in Advisory Services. Laura supported FCA regulated firms in various sectors, delivering regulatory and compliance projects. Laura started their career at JPE as a Consultant and later worked at TPS Ltd as a Customer Service Advisor.

Laura Barrett attended the University of Southampton from 2002 to 2005 and obtained a BA (Hons) degree in Philosophy, achieving a 2:1 classification. In September 2020, they also obtained the ICA International Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance from the International Compliance Association.
