John R. Buran

John R. Buran is the current President & CEO at Flushing Bank. John has also served as SVP Revenue & Operations for Nasdaq's Digital Media Business, National Digital Director for both Nasdaq and Conde Nast, and Founding Member & Digital Sales & Marketing Director for Breaking Media. In 2019, they became a Principal at Elyse Southwell Consulting before returning to Flushing Bank the following year.

John R. Buran has a BS from St. John's University, and has also participated in a study abroad program at the American University of Rome. John has received certification from both the Wharton School and Harvard Business School in business and management essentials, respectively.
