James Kawas is a successful entrepreneur and investor. James began their career in 2011 as a Co-Founder and Head of Product at Pheel, Inc. In 2013, they Co-Founded and became the CEO of Saily, Inc., which had over 1 million users. In 2015, they became a Peter Thiel Fellow, receiving a $100,000 grant from Peter Thiel for their work on Saily. In 2017, they joined Mercari as a Product Leadership member of the $4 Billion IPO team. In 2019, they became a Forbes Council Member. In 2020, they became a Private Investor (VC Funds & Startups) at Kawas Capital, LLC and a Co-Founder & CEO at Flyp, which raised $15 Million to put an end to landfill waste.
