Dennis Skidds

Dennis Skidds, GISP, is a seasoned GIS professional currently serving as the Principal Engineering Plan Services Specialist at FM since July 2025. Prior to this role, Dennis managed a comprehensive GIS program for the National Park Service from March 2007 to July 2025, supporting over 80 parks in the Northeast while providing expertise, guidance, and training. Dennis also held the position of Biologist - Data Manager, overseeing data management and GIS activities for ecological projects at eight coastal parks. Additionally, Dennis contributed to academia as an Instructor and Research Associate at the University of Rhode Island, focusing on advanced spatial analysis, natural resource management, and wetland ecology studies. Educational credentials include an MS in Environmental Sciences from the University of Rhode Island, a Master of Education from St. Lawrence University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Brown University.
