FME
Theo Henrar serves as the Chairman of FME and Smart Industry, both since June 2021, focusing on connecting technology with industry and society to foster a sustainable future. Theo holds positions on the Daily and General Boards of VNO-NCW, advocating for the interests of the Dutch business community. Additionally, Henrar is a Council member of the Sociaal-Economische Raad and holds board positions with the German-Dutch Chamber of Commerce, NLinBusiness, and the Platform Defensie Bedrijfsleven. Theo serves on the Cyber Security Council and has been the Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Heliomare since 2013. As the Chairman of the Supervisory Board for Zeehaven IJmuiden NV, Henrar aims to develop a resilient harbor infrastructure. Henrar completed studies at Leiden University from 1978 to 1985.

FME
FME is de ondernemersorganisatie voor de technologische industrie. De 2.200 aangesloten bedrijven zijn met 220.000 medewerkers actief in productie, handel, automatisering en onderhoud in de sectoren metaal, elektronica, elektrotechniek en kunststof. De gezamenlijke omzet van de FME-leden bedraagt € 70 miljard, hun toegevoegde waarde is ruim € 20 miljard en zij exporteren voor € 37 miljard. Daarmee realiseren de FME-leden een zesde van wat Nederland in totaal met export verdient. FME behartigt de belangen van haar leden in Den Haag, in Brussel en wereldwijd. En FME ondersteunt haar lidbedrijven bij alle aspecten van de bedrijfsvoering, van arbeidsrechtelijke zaken tot milieukwesties en van innovatietrajecten tot exportbevordering. Daarnaast maakt FME zich hard voor de belangen van de 80 aangesloten brancheorganisaties.
