Portia Roberson has a diverse background in law and politics, with experience working in the City of Detroit and the Department of Justice. Portia currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Focus:HOPE and previously held positions as Chairperson of the Police and Fire Retirement System. Portia also has experience in the healthcare sector, as well as in political roles such as Political Director for Michigan Campaign For Change. Portia holds a Juris Doctor degree from Wayne State University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Michigan.
