Jonathan "Yama" Shill

Jonathan "Yama" Shill has worked in a variety of roles since 2002. Jonathan "Yama" began their career in the USAF as an F-15C Pilot in 2002, and then became an MQ-1/9 Instructor Pilot and Weapons SME in 2009. In 2011, they became the CEO of Focused Support LLC, which provides operational support to the warfighter. During their time as Commander ASC/WII OL-DET 3, they created the prototype GBSAA program, High Desert Situational Awareness (HDSA). Jonathan "Yama" also executed multiple "first ever's" such as the MQ-9 release of GBU-54 Laser JDAM, MQ-9 HOBS employment of AGM-114P+, and Multiple Rounds Simultaneous Impact of Griffin and Hellfire. Additionally, they designed GBU-38,54 and AGM-114P HUD LAR/WEZ displays.

Jonathan "Yama" Shill attended Squadron Officer School at Air University - Maxwell AFB in 2008. Jonathan "Yama" then went on to earn a BA in Spanish from Utah State University between 1997 and 2000. Jonathan "Yama" also obtained a Commercial Pilot certification from the Federal Aviation Administration.
