James Franco

James Franco joined the Foundation in January 2020 as a member of FUS Partners, a program created to accelerate the commercial adoption of focused ultrasound as a mainstream standard of care. Given his family’s medical history coupled with focused ultrasound’s therapeutic potential, James has a personal connection to the Foundation’s mission and a drive to directly contribute to the realization of the organization’s vision. Prior to working at the Foundation, James practiced corporate law where he represented clients in commercial transactions and venture financings. Before that, he worked in the public investing markets at a Boston-based institutional investor. James received his BS from Trinity College and his MBA/JD from the University of Virginia. James is a CFA charterholder and a licensed attorney in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
