Rachel McCarthy is a portfolio manager at Folk2Folk, a position they have held since October 2014. Prior to that, they were a director at the Royal Bank of Scotland, where they managed a €800 million European rail leasing portfolio. In this role, they were responsible for commercial assessment and decision making on potential lease transactions, preparing credit proposals, managing relationships with key stakeholders, and identifying opportunities for fee and income generation. Rachel also oversaw one direct report.
Rachel McCarthy has a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from the University of Plymouth, 3 A Levels in Business Studies, English Literature, Theirtory and AS Level Law from Cheltenham Bourneside School and Sixth Form Centre, and 9 GCSEs from Pittville Comprehensive School.
