Fondazione Chips-IT is the Italian Institute for Integrated Circuit Design Research. 

By fostering cohesion in the Italian semiconductor ecosystem, we support both Industry and Academia in looking for new solutions and bringing them to maturity. Acting to enlarge the population of skilled Design Engineers and increasing awareness of the importance of microelectronic design and manufacturing in the society. 

Fondazione Chips-IT is the focal point for Italian participation in European and International research effort in the field.
