Dr. Michael MacLin

Dr. Michael Maclin serves as the Superintendent at the Special School District of St. Louis County since July 2020, bringing over 20 years of experience with a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility. Holding a Doctorate in Leadership in Teaching and Learning, Dr. Maclin has received recognition for transformative leadership, including the New Principal of the Year Award. Previous roles include Executive Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility, Adjunct Professor at Fontbonne University, Principal in Residence at National Heritage Academies, and principal positions at Parkway Schools and University City School District. Dr. Maclin's educational credentials encompass multiple degrees from Missouri Baptist University, including a Doctor of Education and various master's and specialist degrees.
