Louisa Rothman is an experienced culinary professional with over 25 years in the hospitality industry. Currently serving as Executive Event Chef at Food for Thought since June 2021, Rothman previously held the role of Lead Field Chef/Training Chef at the same company from November 2008 to March 2020, managing a culinary team of 50-100 seasonal employees and overseeing operations for a company that serves over 2.5 million people annually in Chicagoland. Earlier in their career, Rothman worked as an Executive Chef and Pastry Chef at various prestigious restaurants, hotels, and private clubs in Chicago, including Marche, the KDK Group, and Nobu. Rothman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Colorado Boulder, earned between 1985 and 1990.
