Barry Carpenter has nearly 50 years of experience working on livestock and meat issues both domestically and internationally. He spent 37 years with USDA, including 15 years as the Deputy Administrator of the Agricultural Marketing Service followed by 12 years as the CEO of meat industry trade associations. Barry’s extensive contacts and established relationships with Government officials and policy influencers in Washington, DC enables him to effectively support FSNS and their clients on regulatory issues.
