Murtaza Mohammad has a diverse work experience in laboratory settings. From 2018, they worked as a Senior Microbiology Lab Technician at Food Safety Net Services, where they independently conducted advanced analytical and microbiological testing of various food products and environmental samples. Additionally, they were responsible for preparing lab reagents and media, as well as aseptically prepping samples for testing.
Prior to that, Murtaza served as a Research Assistant at The University of Texas at San Antonio from 2017 to 2018. In this role, they performed various molecular biology assays, managed laboratory functions, and assisted in data collection and analysis. Murtaza also ensured compliance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.

Murtaza Mohammad completed their education in Biology at The University of Texas at San Antonio. Murtaza first obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biology from 2013 to 2015. Later, from 2017 to 2019, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Biology, specializing in Biology/Biological Sciences, General. Additionally, in February 2019, they acquired a certification from the American Red Cross.
