Meté Gumus has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Meté began their career in 1996 at Unilever, where they held various sales roles until 2003. From 2006 to 2007, they worked as an Analyst at the British Columbia Securities Commission. Meté then returned to Unilever in 2007, taking on different finance roles in FP&A, Marketing, and Sales until 2015. From 2015 to 2018, they served as the CFO of Unilever Food Solutions North America. Since 2018, they have been the Managing Director and CEO of FoodServiceDirect.com.
Meté Gumus received a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance/Accounting from Uludag University in 2003. In 2005, they pursued an MBA at The University of British Columbia with a focus on Finance and Business Intelligence. Later, from 2009 to 2011, they obtained a CIMA qualification in Management Accounting (Operational Level) from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
