Deborah Caliva

Deborah Caliva is a highly experienced automotive professional with a career spanning over three decades in various engineering and management roles. Currently serving as the Executive Director and Chief Engineer for Battery Electric Vehicles at Ford Motor Company since June 2009, Deborah has previously held significant positions, including Global Body Interior/Exterior Material Cost Manager and Interiors Program Manager. Prior to this, Deborah was a Senior Program Manager for Interiors and Lighting at Automotive Components Holdings LLC, where responsibilities included managing multiple interior products and Ford F-Series Truck lighting designs. Deborah’s early career includes roles at Visteon Corporation, where management of automotive electronics projects and engineering processes was key. Educational accomplishments include a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University and a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Wayne State University.
