Michael Hirsh

Michael Hirsh is an experienced journalist with a robust background in foreign and national reporting. Currently serving as Senior Correspondent and Deputy News Editor at Foreign Policy since September 2018, Michael previously held the position of Writer-in-chief at M.P. Hirsh LLC from November 2016 to September 2018. Michael's notable past roles include National Editor at Politico Magazine, Chief Correspondent for National Journal Group, and various editorial positions at Newsweek, including Foreign Editor. Michael also served as Asia Bureau Chief for Institutional Investor and worked as a Foreign Correspondent and editor for The Associated Press. Michael holds a degree from Columbia University, attending from 1985 to 1990.
