Brandon Day joined the Forestdale Board because it brought him closer to helping out the New York City community. He brings to the Board work experience in business management, strategy and operations with over 16 years working at American International Group. His most recent role was Head of Strategy & Operations for a global line of business. His board experience includes the Advisory Board for the organization, Reach The World. He has BAs in Economics and Political Science at Syracuse University, an MA in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School, Tufts University and an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Forestdale’s roots go back 165 years, when a group of women affiliated with a church in Brooklyn founded an industrial school for children, which in 1980 became Forestdale. Forestdale is the only child welfare agency headquartered in Queens, with an exclusive focus on the particular needs of Queens' and Brooklyn communities & families.
