Sizhu You

Sizhu You is a seasoned expert in materials engineering with extensive experience in leading teams and driving product innovation. Currently serving as the Lead for SLS Materials and Print Process at Formlabs, Sizhu previously held multiple engineering leadership roles at Markforged, including Director of Materials Engineering, where oversight of a diverse team focused on developing new materials for advanced printing systems was a key responsibility. Prior experience includes significant contributions as a Senior Research Engineer at Saint-Gobain, where details in product development, material design, and intellectual property were highlighted. Sizhu's academic background includes a PhD in Chemistry and Materials Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, complemented by a BSc from Wuhan University. Achievements include several patent applications and a Dissertation Award in Materials Chemistry.
